Our aim is to support educators and students in their exploration and learning with brief, useful information.
The CLASSROOM HUB provides a collection of Toolkits for Educators on different topics suitable for various Grades, including Local History, Earthquake (Disasters), Rock Art, Slawery and an Anti-Bullying program suitable for all grades. There’s also a dedicated area for Learners Resources to help with Local History assignments. You can now access our CERES THEN AND NOW virtual exhibition to use in the classroom by clicking the link on your computer. ( VIRTUAL EXHIBITION )
The museum presents a number of educational programs that can be booked in advance. Please feel free to contact the museum or fill in the online booking form. We are looking forward welcoming you to the museum. Note that some programs can be present off site. Please enquire about presenting a program at your school.
An Environmental and Cultural Outdoor tour is hosted by the Togryers museum in collaboration with Ceres Tourism office. If a tour is presented during the week there is no cost involved. If requested over a weekend, the cost will be R50 pp (minimum 10 persons).
