Time is Gracious – Rosanne Louw

I live in Ceres, Western Cape. 

I draw my art inspiration from various elements in life, though my main muse lies in the immense power of music - the lyrics, the composition, and the souls who connect with it.

Inspiration can emerge from a simple encounter with other people, a view, a feeling, or a moment shared in time.  In life, there is a constant influx of inspiration, we just need to connect the dots and create.  My art evolves as my journey of discovery continues.

I'm a self-taught artist and I mainly work with acrylic paint.  As I prefer not to define and put my art in a box, my greatest wish is that everyone who views it will connect with an element in my art, find their own meaning, and connect with it.  I only do abstract painting, so interpretation by the viewer has no limits.
