The Crazy Socks 4 Docs initiative is a global movement aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding mental health issues among healthcare professionals. It was founded in 2017 by Australian cardiologist Dr. Geoff Toogood, who, after experiencing depression and anxiety, sought to highlight the importance of mental well-being in the medical community. The campaign encourages people to wear mismatched or colorful socks on the first Friday of June each year to spark conversations about mental health and show support for healthcare workers.
Lets support our health care professionals and join the campaign by wearing colorful or mismatched socks on Friday, 6 June.
